Baby, there are many great ways to design a baby’s room, whether you choose Pooh Bear, Noah’s ark, or other designs. At this age, it really is up to you how to decorate the room. Just keep in mind that if it was too childish, you may find yourself with 2 or 3 years old who wants his room redecorated because he was not a baby anymore!

For toddlers, until about 9 or 10 years, one of the most popular design is the Disney movie Cars. Most boys like football, cars and their films Disney used to do it magic with this one to make it more popular.

For boys the older, 10 or 11 years and over by teenagers, there are many choices. Their favorite movies, music, video games, showing all the potential themes for their bedroom. It is important to consider at this age is how fast their tastes may change. PostHeaderIcon Consideration when Remodeling a Dining Room

Oftentimes the dining room is a room in a house that gets the least amount of love. Most people shoot to remodel the living room, the bedroom, the family room or the kitchen before the dining room. Today, we’re going to give some love to the dining room – the place where people eat, share stories, build relationships, eat good food, and spend quality time together.

Consider the following when remodeling your dining room:

1. Assess your dining room’s dimensions.

Take some measuring tape and measure the length and width of your dining room. This may be easier to do if you have a separate dining room than a dining room area. Place your measurements somewhere that you’ll remember, i.e., notebook, cell phone, etc.

2. Think about your dining room’s color scheme relative to the rest of the house.

If you have a living room/dining room combo, you may want to consider colors that compliment each other. A smooth transition between rooms gives the look and feel of togetherness but separation. If you have a separate dining room you may want a contrasting color to bring a different feel into the home. Whatever your palette, I would recommend that whatever your room color is that the items in your room complement that color but contrast at the same time.

3. What is your dining room style?

Now you need to consider what all will go in your new dining room. Consider a contemporary style if you like a more modern look to your furniture; a combination of glass and wood might give you what you’re looking for. You may be more into an older style similar to what you saw growing up – the oak dining room table with the big china cabinet, for example. You could always go all out and give it the deluxe formal look – including china dinnerware, crystal glasses, vase with fresh flowers, chandeliers, the whole works.

Remember, this is probably one of the main rooms you’ll share memories in – so make it something you can all enjoy. Happy remodeling!
